MSF RiderCourses

The purpose of the Motorcycle Rider Program is to provide quality instruction in safe riding techniques for beginning and experienced motorcyclists. Our goal is to increase your skill level and knowledge, in an attempt to produce a safe and conscientious motorcyclist

Whether you're just starting out, or have been riding for some time, there's a RiderCourse for you.

Basic RiderCourse

For beginners and re-entry riders of all ages. No experience necessary. Motorcycles are supplied by the training location for this course

The novice or occasional rider can benefit in the areas of skill development with emphasis on control and operational aspects essential for survival as a street rider. Individuals desiring to become licensed motorcyclists are provided with the basic skills beyond those required for the license examination

Non-motorcyclists can benefit from these courses by learning on a first-hand basis what a motorcyclist experiences and the necessity for developing respect for all vehicles on the highway.

Experienced RiderCourse

For experienced riders that possess basic skills. No time or mileage prerequisite. This course is done on your own motorcycle.

The ERC is intended for those who have motorcycle riding experience of at least one year or 1,000 miles. This course is primarily designed to increase your present skill level and develop a greater awareness of perceptual skills. Specially trained instructors will lead you through 8 hours of  discussion and on-cycle instruction
